Season. Weddings run from May to September. The barn is unheated, and its doors can stand open all night onto the summer evening.
Ceremony. The ceremony is held in the park south of the manor house, with the house behind you. If it rains, the ceremony and the reception move into the barn, which is always ready. The lake and the bathing jetty are for a walk with the photographer.
Booking. A confirmation invoice for half the hire secures the date, and the rest is paid six months before the wedding; book later than that, and everything is paid at once. There is no deposit, and cancellation follows the Terms & Conditions. Six months is enough to book and plan; book earlier, and you have more dates to choose from.

Getting married in Denmark. For a symbolic or religious ceremony, the estate is simply the location. A church wedding is arranged with the parish, if one of you is a member of the Church of Denmark (Folkekirken). A Danish civil marriage has documentation requirements that vary by nationality and change over time; check the current rules with Familieretshuset (the Danish Agency of Family Law) or Guldborgsund Municipality. Couples have been married civilly at Agerup, but Guldborgsund Municipality's practice changes, so check the current options with the municipality.
